About NetDiva

My name is Amy and online, I go by the name NetDiva. I’m an amateur foodie and a bacon fanatic. I live in San Francisco with my husban, two cats, and dog. My friends and family tell me that I’m an excellent cook. I love cooking as much as I love eating out. I have a pretty good knowledge of where to eat in San Francisco. That has given me the opportunity to write enough reviews to earn Yelp Elite status for 2007 & 2008.

My husband and I are the creators of the famed Bacon Man.

Bacon Man
When I’m not focused on food and wine, I’m creating art for the Burning Man Festival in Nevada which I have been attending since 2001.

I earn a living as a manager of online marketing for an Open Source start-up here in the City. I’ve been involved with Open Source Software, professionally, since 1997.

Since I try to be a socially conscious person, my posts will often have a socially conscious theme.  I wont take it overboard.  I don’t consider myself a tree-hugger, just someone who brings their own bags to the grocery store and tries to make the right choices when they’re available.

Well, digest this!!!! We love your blog and are going to try some of your recipes. You make it all seem so exciting. We, especially, appreciate your encouragement of shopping at local businesses. Local businesses are what made the big businesses we have today. Unfortunately, they became more focused on the $$ than on offering choices, freshness, and most importantly, customer service.

Keep up the good work and information! We love you!!!!

I found this website while searching for a recipe from the 1975 Amana Touchmatic Radarange Microwave Oven Cookbook.

If you have this book, could you please post the recipe for BBQ Beef. My Mother passed away in 1993 and my Dad has lost this cookbook. He always made this BBQ Beef and I’ve tried to help him find this cookbook.

    Thank you.
